Kevin Owens calls out Steve Austin for WWE Wrestlemania 38

During the March 7th 2022 edition of WWE RAW, Kevin Owens came to the ring and announced that he had a plan for WWE Wrestlemania 38. Earlier in the evening, Owens and Seth Rollins lost the RAW tag team titles match which left Owens without a Wrestlemania path.

Owens ended up calling out “Stone Cold” Steve Austin for a special edition of The Kevin Owens Show at Wrestlemania. Owens said that he doesn’t think Austin has the guts to show up.

There had been rumors in recent weeks of Owens having a confrontation with Austin at the event after Owens started insulting the state of Texas on television. There was reportedly talk that Austin would wrestle but he apparently didn’t agree to do an actual match.
