Jon Moxley defeats Bryan Danielson to become the first three-time AEW world champion

The September 21st 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite (Grand Slam) main event saw Bryan Danielson battle Jon Moxley in the Tournament of Champions final to crown a new world champion. MJF was seen watching the match in a luxury box with his casino chip.

The match went back and forth with various submission holds and nearfalls traded. In the end, both ended up on the ramp and Moxley hit Bryan with the death rider. Bryan rolled into the ring and Moxley put on a sleeper submission. Bryan attempted to escape but was unsuccessful and passed out to make Moxley the first three-time AEW world champion.
