John Cena turns heel during The Rock’s segment with Cody Rhodes at WWE Elimination Chamber 2025

Following John Cena’s victory in the 2025 men’s Elimination Chamber match, WWE champion Cody Rhodes came down to the ring and congratulated Cena. The Rock then made his entrance to the ring along with rapper Travis Scott.

The Rock said it was time for an answer but if the answer was no, the dream would die… again. Cody said his soul no longer belongs to him because he gave his soul to the ring and fans a long time ago. Cody said “go fuck yourself” to Rock.

Cena hugged Cody but then turned heel by giving him a low blow. Cena hit Cody with brass knuckles and then hit him with the WWE championship. Cody was busted open and Cena choked Cody with Cody’s tie. Scott then joined in on the attack and helped Rock whip Cody with the weightlifting belt. The Rock posed over Cody’s body as the crowd chanted “you sold out” at Cena.

After the show “officially” ended, Cody got to his feet and received a standing ovation from the fans. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett attended to Cody in the ring.
