John Cena said to be “very, very high” on Je’Von Evans as the future of WWE

As seen during the November 17th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Je’Von Evans came up short against Gunther in a “Last Time is Now” tournament match.

This week, it was noted by BodySlam.net that “multiple executives in WWE believe that Je’Von Evans is not only the present but the future of WWE.” Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com stated the following about Evans…

“I was also told that John Cena, he went down to developmental and everything, and apparently he’s very, very high on Je’Von. Sheamus had a match with him at a house show and Sheamus was raving about him.” (quote courtesy of Cultaholic.com)
