JD McDonagh announces that he’ll be out of WWE action so he can “get put back together”

WWE star JD McDonagh, part of the Judgment Day faction, announced via Instagram that he will be out of action for the time being. McDonagh shared a photo of himself with his right wrist and hand taped up with gauze from a surgical procedure. McDonagh included the following caption…

“Been working thru some stuff for the last few months, but now is the time to pump the brakes and get put back together. Won’t be long. brb.”

McDonagh’s last match took place on the November 24th 2025 episode of RAW in a losing effort to Rey Mysterio.

McDonagh was also injured earlier in 2025. As seen during the January 27th edition of RAW, JD McDonagh went for a springboard moonsault to the outside of the ring but took a scary bump where he bounced off the announce table. Following the event, McDonagh revealed that he suffered a couple of broken ribs and a punctured lung.
