Jazmyn Nyx addresses how much she was being paid in WWE NXT
On Wednesday, it was reported that WWE NXT star Jazmyn Nyx will not be renewing her contract with the company. Nyx commented on her decision to leave WWE while responding to a fan on Snapchat…
“Ultimately it came down to the work I was putting in and being booked for was not accurate with the amount I was being offered. And no I was not making 6 figures but that is the goal. Not specifically my injuries, but the wear and tear that the job had on my body was one of the reasons. I was wrestling for both TNA and NXT every Tuesday and on the weekends without a day off.”
Nyx also had the following exchange with a fan on Instagram…
archouletta20_: “They [NXT talent] get $80k–$150k. How is that not cutting it financially?!”
jazmyn_wwe: “If I was making that, that would’ve been great!”
According to Fightful.com, WWE sources did confirm that they wanted to retain Nyx but were unwilling to budge from their offer. It’s believed that Nyx was at about $75,000 on her contract which is the same amount that was offered for a new multi-year deal.
