Internet speculation about there possibly being backstage issues within the AEW women’s division
As seen during the July 26th 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite, Britt Baker defeated Taya Valkyrie in a match that received some criticism on social media. Taya ended up commenting on the negative messages that she received.
A fan sign that read “book the women’s division better” was noticeable during the Britt vs. Taya match. Fans on social media have commented about the women’s division typically only getting one segment per show around the 9:15-9:30 quarter hour.
Independent wrestler LuFisto sent out the following tweet…
“It’s cute how people blame booking for a bad women’s division. Talent with too much power; talent denigrating each other; talent trash-talking potential employees so they never get in as soon as they walk in… It starts here.
– The one you called FN French Canadian a**hole”

Internet speculation about there possibly being backstage issues within the AEW women’s division was fueled by Saraya liking the following tweet from WrestlePurists.com’s @BackupHangman…
“Kinda feels like the Outcasts story was a big waste of time. Obviously there’s no controlling the [Jamie] Hayter injury but we didn’t get Blood and Guts out of it, the whole surrounding division paused and it feels like very little was accomplished broadly in the first half of the year.”
