Internal reaction in AEW to Adam Copeland suffering a fractured tibia at the 2024 Double or Nothing PPV event

As previously noted, AEW star Adam Copeland announced that he suffered a fractured tibia at the 2024 Double or Nothing PPV event and will need to have surgery. Copeland is expected to relinquish his TNT title.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, the internal reaction in AEW to Copeland’s injury has been that of “universal sadness and sympathy.” Johnson went into more details…

“We are told that behind the scenes, Copeland has risen into being a great mentor and sounding board for talents. Among those we’ve spoken with, they felt there would be a great void behind the scenes while he was gone recovering.”
