Internal change within WWE has reportedly caused “a major blow to company morale among employees”
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that this afternoon, WWE employees received a memo announcing an immediate change to the company’s severance policy. The previous WWE policy, which provided one month of severance pay per year of service, has been discontinued. Moving forward, WWE will adopt TKO’s severance policy, offering two weeks of severance pay for each year an employee has worked for the company.
Johnson noted the following about the situation…
“We are also told there are additional caps on the policy based on management level but have not heard particulars on that. Needless to say (and quite understandably), this was a major blow to company morale among employees, especially since so many are now tasked with responsibilities among WWE, UFC and PBR, as opposed to just on WWE as they had been prior to Vince McMahon selling the company.”
