Hulk Hogan’s appearances in WWE could be reduced following negative reaction at RAW’s Netflix debut

At the Netflix premiere of WWE RAW on January 6th 2025, Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan cut a promo with longtime manager Jimmy Hart to hype up the event and promote his Real American Beer product. Despite praising the fans, Hogan was largely booed during the segment.

It was noted in an article on Sportskeeda.com that “from here on, there might be an increased level of mindfulness regarding the cities he chooses to appear live and promote his brand to wrestling fans.” During Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass Q&A, WrestleVotes commented on Hogan’s appearances in WWE possibly being reduced despite his new partnership with the company…

“I think they may do a lot of documentary interviews with him going forward. I think they may have him on commercials. His numbers do incredibly well on WWE Shop, so they’re going to keep him around. But I think as far as live appearances, you may not see him as often.” (quote courtesy of WrestlingNews.co)

Former WWE/TNA Elijah Burke publicly commented on the negative reaction to Hogan. Comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, who attended RAW, also gave his thoughts.
