Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

WWE announced that Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant from WrestleMania 3 will be honored with the WWE Immortal Moment Award at the 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony. Paul “Triple H” Levesque stated the following via Twitter/X…

“Among the pantheon of commentary in wrestling, Gorilla Monsoon’s description of Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant as ‘the irresistible force meets the immovable object’ is at the very top. The main event of WrestleMania III is more than just a piece @WWE history, it is in the DNA of every bit of our industry. It’s an honor to celebrate this match as part of this year’s #WWEHOF.”

Hogan vs. Andre is the second match to be inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame following Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart from WrestleMania 13.
