How WWE reportedly feels about the first four months of NXT’s rebranding
Back in September, WWE revamped NXT with the 2.0 makeover. Twitter account @WrestleVotes noted the following in regards to the rebranding…
“Internally WWE is said to be disappointed w/ NXT 2.0 in its first 4 months. Source said they thought more fans would gravitate towards the newer stars quicker than they have. Could it just be too much, too fast? Either way I don’t expect any changes to the concept… just yet.”

Despite the changes made in an attempt to draw a younger audience, NXT has been struggling with television ratings. The January 18th 2022 episode of NXT drew the 3rd lowest rating (0.11 or 149,000 viewers) in the 18-49 demographic for the series on USA Network.
WWE has tried to boost numbers by bringing in main roster stars such as AJ Styles and Matt Riddle.
NXT's lowest total viewership since Dec 14.
Essentially tied with 3 other episodes (Nov 16, Dec 7, and Dec 21), all at 0.11, the lowest P18-49 rating on USA Network. Only the Aug 3 episode that was preempted to Syfy was lower, with a 0.10 rating.https://t.co/A4ObZaCKWX
