How WWE officials reportedly feel about Gunther’s work on Smackdown

It is being reported by Fightful Select that Gunther has consistently been impressing “people of influence” within WWE. Gunther had his supporters as WALTER in NXT but has seemingly been winning over more people with his work since debuting on the main roster. Fightful noted the following about what has put him in favor with the company…

“Among them include his move to the United States, and his dedication to his diet and training. Those that we spoke to within WWE said that Walter getting in shape and being willing to move to the United States after not seeming interested in the latter was a good sign for him.”

It was added that Vince McMahon has reportedly enjoyed Gunther’s in-ring work based on what he’s seen of it so far on the Smackdown brand.
