Health update on Rhea Ripley heading into the 2024 WWE Summerslam PLE

As seen during the July 15th 2024 edition of WWE RAW, women’s world champion Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley was officially confirmed for the 2024 Summerslam PLE. Despite being back on television, Ripley is not expected to wrestle until Summerslam.

In regards to Rhea’s health, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following…

“Ripley has not been 100% cleared for physicality but sources expect that process to be completed by the PPV. She will not have any physical interactions until she is cleared, so there will be a lot of teases and working around it until she gets the 100% green light.”

Johnson added that there was initially talk of Rhea returning to WWE at Summerslam or on the RAW after Summerslam but Rhea believed she would be good to go for the match.
