Health update on Keith Lee after he was pulled from the 2023 AEW Worlds End PPV event

As previously noted, AEW star Keith Lee publicly stated that he has been working through an injury since 2022 and things have gotten worse. Lee ended up being pulled from the 2023 Worlds End PPV event.

According to HausofWrestling.com’s Nick Hausman, Keith Lee shared an update on his status via a private social media account. Here is what Lee wrote…

“Took roughly 19 years…. but I guess it’s my turn. Time to get fixed. Here’s to double surgeries. Certainly one way to start 2024.”

Hausman added that Lee did not provide any further details regarding the injuries or the surgeries. Lee’s wife Michin (Mia Yim) shot a down a rumor about the nature of Lee’s procedures via Twitter/X…

“Smdh. Ringside news is hot pressed garbage. I won’t state specifics but heart and throat surgery is absolutely false.”
