Giulia regains the women’s United States title from Chelsea Green

As seen during the January 2nd 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown, Chelsea Green defended the women’s United States title against Giulia.

Giulia set the tone early with an aggressive opening and controlled much of the match using headbutts, a missile dropkick, and a Curb Stomp. Chelsea Green mounted a late comeback and hit the Rough Ryder, but the pin was stopped due to a referee distraction. Giulia ultimately countered Green’s turnbuckle attempt with a butterfly superplex into a rolling Northern Lights Bomb to secure the victory.
