Former WWE writer is suing the company and individual staff including Vince McMahon
Former WWE writer Britney Abrahams is suing WWE and individual staff including Vince McMahon, alleging “discriminatory treatment, harassment, hostile work environment, wrongful termination, unlawful retaliation against the Plaintiff due to her race, color, and gender.” Abrahams brought up multiple instances in which WWE allegedly had talent act out racist stereotypes. According to Abrahams, she was wrongfully fired after taking a commemorative chair at Wrestlemania 38 as retaliation for pushing back against the creative process.
The lawsuit also notes the following…
“Defendants repeatedly subjected Plaintiff to unlawful discrimination and a hostile work environment, … unlawful retaliation for complaining of Defendants’ unlawful employment practices, including her complaints of racial harassment and discrimination, and other wrongdoing.”
