Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ tribute speech to Hulk Hogan gets interrupted by protestor

It was reported by TMZ.com on Thursday that Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) passed away at the age of 71. While speaking at a news conference, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis reacted to the news about Hogan’s death…

“And before I get into the the gist of today’s information, just as a Floridian, as somebody that grew up in West Central Florida, I was sad to see the news that that Hulk Hogan passed away today. He was a major icon for anybody in Gen X. I can tell you growing up then in the 80s and in particularly the early 90s. He actually really was a star first before even he was Hulkamania but when he was Thunder Lips and Rocky 3. So he was Thunder Lips and then a couple years later became the the World Wrestling Federation heavyweight champion. And you know, as a young kid, I’m growing up and it’s like, ‘Wow, that’s our superhero kind of deal.’ And the fact that he was from the Tampa Bay area when I’m growing up there, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, this guy lives in our area.'”

Desantis continued with his speech but it was then interrupted by a protestor. The protestor referred to Desantis as a “f*cking n*zi” and flipped off people before being escorted away by security. Going Ringside‘s YouTube channel shared footage of the incident…
