Finn Balor wins the United States Title on WWE RAW and Damian Priest turns heel

During the February 28th 2022 edition of WWE RAW, Finn Balor challenged Damian Priest for the United States Title. The two had a competitive match which ended with Balor picking up the win courtesy of the Coup De Grace.

After the match, Priest got on the mic and said that the people “carried” Balor to win the match and the fans never gave him that support even though he busted his ass as champion. Priest said he would win the title back and then took a cheap shot at Balor. Priest took Balor to the outside of the ring and gave Balor a Razor’s Edge onto the announce table.
