Early news regarding the top matches planned for the 2024 WWE Summerslam PLE

The 2024 WWE Summerslam PLE is coming up on August 3rd in Cleveland, OH and multiple matches are already rumored for the event. According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, WWE champion Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa and United States champion Logan Paul vs. LA Knight are currently “earmarked” for Summerslam and not Money in the Bank. Gunther is scheduled to face either Damian Priest or Seth Rollins for the world heavyweight title.

Meltzer also noted the following regarding CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre…

“The hope is that Punk vs. McIntyre will take place at SummerSlam on 8/3 in Cleveland, but we were told that as of right now it’s up in the air whether Punk would be ready by that date. It was emphasized to me that he could be ready but it’s not a sure thing.”
