While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Drew McIntyre revealed that his cat Chaz passed away. McIntyre stated the following…
“We lost Chaz. It sucks. You know, he was our boy, and he had long-term liver disease for a long time. And, you know, finally we knew it was getting to the point where he was going to be gone soon.
We had the pads down in the house, and he was, going to the bathroom outside of them, but he was still lying with us and purring. And we just knew the end was close, and yeah, it really sucked.
We tried to have Lap of Love [Veterinary Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia] come out and do it in the house to make it a little bit easier. It was not easier. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

But yeah, we haven’t posted about it because we just can’t bear ourselves to talk about it. So this is the first time I’ve talked about it, and I don’t care if we get emotional on camera—it really hurts that bad. I miss the little guy, and I’ll miss him forever.”
