Drew McIntyre provides update on his status for WWE SummerSlam 2025
As seen during the July 12th 2025 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Randy Orton and country music star Jelly Roll vs. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul was officially confirmed for SummerSlam. However, McIntyre’s status for the show was seemingly in jeopardy as he stated in a Twitter/X video that he couldn’t travel back to the United States from the United Kingdom due to not having his passport.
McIntyre published a follow-up video on Wednesday with the following comments…
“In the past few days my phone’s been exploding. Text messages, direct messages, phone calls, everybody looking for an answer to leak it somewhere I’m sure rather than actually checking if I’m okay. So the update is here. Really wasn’t looking good. I’ve seen Miz – little selfish of you offering to take my place. I’ve got an update for you, Mike. The answer is absolutely…”
At this point, Logan appeared on the screen with the answer…
“Hell Nah! You think I’m gonna partner with the Miz, bro? I got a Scottish warrior!”
McIntyre concluded the video with an additional message…
“Stupid Jelly Roll. You tried to get me stuck in the UK, I know you’re behind it, but this guy’s got more powerful friends than you. He sent the jet and this Saturday, you and Randy are screwed.”
