Dominik Mysterio reportedly suffered a legitimate shoulder injury at AAA event
According to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com, Dominik Mysterio suffered a shoulder injury during the main event of Saturday’s AAA Guerra de Titanes event in Guadalajara. In the match, Dominik teamed with El Grande Americano against Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix.
Alvarez noted the following about what happened…
“Dom injured his shoulder taking the DDT from his dad near the end of tonight’s main event. Based on how he landed, my presumption is it’s likely a shoulder separation, which depending on the severity could be a short-term injury, or worst case scenario surgery. But we won’t know anything until he gets evaluated. He could barely use the arm at all.”
The match ended with Penta, who had previously been taken out due to injury, stopping Americano from using a foreign object and instead headbutting Dominik with it. Fenix then wiped out Americano with a dive on the outside, allowing Rey to pin his son after hitting the 619. After the match, Dominik shoved Americano and walked to the back on his own, while a confused Americano later shook hands with Rey before leaving.
