D-Von Dudley to Thea Hail’s critics: “Get out of your mother’s basement – Leave these people alone”

In a video published to her YouTube channel, WWE NXT star Thea Hail spoke out against “disgusting” behavior from social media users. While speaking to Duke Loves Rasslin, WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley addressed the situation…

“All these people that are saying all this negative stuff about her — listen, you can say whatever you want to say about her, but the bottom line is this: she’s out there. She’s doing her thing. She’s doing what you want to do. She’s doing what you can’t do, but yet you want to bury her and say mean things about her.

She’s a 22-year-old girl. Seriously — what if that was your sister? What if that was your daughter who’s trying to live her dream and you were burying her like that, and they were getting buried? How would you feel?

Is she terrible? Hell no. I think she’s pretty good. She’s 22 years old. She’s got a lot to learn.

Again, I think some of these fans don’t realize what they say and do. You hide behind your computer and you say what you say, but again, get out of your mother’s basement, wait for her to bake the apple pie so you can eat it, and stop putting your two cents into stuff like that where it doesn’t belong.

It really makes no sense for fans to do that to people like that. At least they’re in there trying. At least they’re in there doing what they’re doing. At least WWE saw enough to bring her in, give her a contract, and work with her.

She’s outlasted a lot of people that came in with her class, so apparently she’s doing something right.

Leave these people alone and just sit back and enjoy pro wrestling for what it is. Stop thinking you can dictate every little thing that is being done in that ring.”
