CM Punk’s status for WWE Summerslam 2024 officially confirmed during RAW

As seen during the July 22nd 2024 edition of WWE RAW, CM Punk announced that he was cleared and wanted to fight Drew McIntyre. McIntyre made an appearance but taunted Punk. General manager Adam Pearce confirmed that the match will take place at Summerslam.

In addition to that, Pearce said that he had a referee problem. Seth Rollins’ music and Rollins confirmed that he will be the special guest referee for Punk vs. McIntyre at Summerslam.
