CM Punk reportedly issued an apology to Adam Page for his remarks after AEW Collision

As previously noted, CM Punk cut a promo for the live crowd after the August 12th 2023 edition of AEW Collision ended and he took a shot at “Hangman” Adam Page. Punk and The Young Bucks reportedly have an agreement to not say anything negative publicly about each other but that does not include Page.

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, people close to CM Punk are claiming that he did not get Page or Matt Hardy removed from recent Collision events while “others have claimed he did with Page and Hardy and much of the locker room believes that.” Meltzer was told by another person that Punk didn’t know that Page was in Greensboro for Collision.

Nick Hausman of HausOfWrestling.com was told that Punk’s comments about Page following Collision “did not come across how he would have liked them and that he felt bad about them afterward.” Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline stated the following during Wrestling Observer Radio

“What I can say is he did in fact send a text message to Hangman Page apologizing for the promo on Saturday. That is from both sides, that did happen, he did apologize to him via text message.”
