Bron Breakker defeats Tommaso Ciampa to win the WWE NXT Title

During the January 4th 2021 New Year’s Evil edition of WWE NXT 2.0, Bron Breakker defeated Tommaso Ciampa to win the WWE NXT Title. This was a rematch from the Halloween Havoc edition of NXT. Breakker kicked out of a Fairytale Ending and then captured the title by submission with the Steiner Recliner.

After the show ended, Ciampa shook the hand of Breakker’s father Rick Steiner. Rick then celebrated the victory in the ring with his son.
