Brock Lesnar comments on his future with WWE amidst internet speculation

Last month, Brock Lesnar reportedly told people in WWE that he was “finishing up” and there was internet speculation about Lesnar’s future with the company. Just prior to his victory against Omos at WWE Wrestlemania 39, Lesnar spoke with Daniel Cormier and commented on his future with WWE…

“Every time that I think that I’m done, I’m looking to… then I get in a ring, I get to the building, and that’s the part of the business that I really love. I left the business early because I just didn’t like the travel. I’m just a simple man, and it was just too much for me at the then. But I don’t know. I don’t know how much more that I’m gonna… I don’t know how long I’m gonna be around. I don’t know that.”

Lesnar also commented on why a match against Gunther didn’t happen at Wrestlemania 39…

“It was just proposed, but I don’t know if… I make the calls around here. It’s just one of those things that when it was proposed to me, because I like the challenge, and I like the match-up.” (quotes courtesy of Colin Tessier)
