Breaking news: Sasha Banks and Naomi indefinitely suspended by WWE

As previously reported, women’s tag team champions Sasha Banks and Naomi reportedly walked out of WWE RAW due to creative issues with Vince McMahon.

During the May 20th 2022 edition of WWE Smackdown, Michael Cole brought up how “Sasha and Naomi let us all down” and “their actions disappointed millions of WWE fans.” Cole said because of what they did, they have been suspended indefinitely and there will be a tournament to crown new women’s tag team champions.

It was not mentioned on Smackdown but WWE has pulled Sasha and Naomi’s merchandise from WWEShop.com for the time being. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com noted that despite this, Sasha and Naomi have not been released from the company.

Happy Corbin also seemingly made a reference to Sasha during his promo about Madcap Moss on Smackdown. Corbin said the following…

“You should show your boss total respect. You should never to try to improve your station in life…”

“He [Moss] ate Wagyu beef and I paid for it all. Now, if he wants to eat steak, his nurse has to chew it for him first.”

During her appearance on Broken Skull Sessions, Sasha talked about eating steak like Vince McMahon.
