Booker T comments on syringe spot with MJF and Adam Page by saying “it’s just in poor taste”
As seen during the 2026 AEW Revolution PPV event, world champion MJF stuck a syringe into the mouth of “Hangman” Adam Page during their Texas death match. While speaking on his podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T addressed the spot…
“Last time I saw a syringe used like that, it was in a [Swerve] Strickland match, and I didn’t think it was in great taste because, you know, I don’t know what these guys think or understand about needles and drugs and whatnot.
But I’ve walked into a room, when I was a kid, on someone in my family — someone close to my family — with a needle in their arm, doing drugs. And it’s something that made me never want to even think about doing drugs like that.
I used to see needles on the ground when I was a kid because I was in places where I wasn’t supposed to be. So to see something like that on television, knowing what it represents, it’s just in poor taste.
I didn’t see it, and I’m not going to comment on the match or anything like that, but I’m glad I didn’t see it.”
