Bobby Lashley on the AEW roster: “They are putting their lives on the line and people are coming because of that”
While speaking to The Mega Powers Podcast, Bobby Lashley gave praise to the AEW roster. Here is what Lashley stated…
“These guys put themselves on the line. Just look at the amount of people that are injured right now and that are going to be injured. You don’t get injured by doing something you don’t want to do. You get injured by doing something you pour your whole life into.
There’s people like Swerve—you all saw him, right? He’s a star across the board. Will Ospreay—superstar. Kenny Omega—superstar. Darby Allin. Moxley’s been killing it. Superstars.
They are putting their lives on the line, and people are coming because of that. It’s crazy.
There’s a learning curve I’ve had because of coming over here. Sometimes in other organizations, it’s about who you are. These guys are like, ‘I don’t think about who I am. Look at what I’m doing.’
I’m watching matches and I’m like, ‘Holy sh*t.’ And then if you think with a different mentality, you say, ‘How much is he getting paid?’
‘I don’t give a f*ck about that.’ That’s not what they’re thinking about. They’re thinking about, ‘We are going to make this place amazing.'”
