Becky Lynch will possibly be having surgery due to a separated shoulder

There has been speculation that Becky Lynch’s shoulder was injured during her match against Bianca Belair at the 2022 Summerslam PLE. According to Fightful Select, it has been confirmed that Becky sustained a separated shoulder and worked through most of the match with the injury. Becky is expected to miss ring time but it’s unknown how long she will be out of action.

Fightful also noted the following…

“So far, the next steps aren’t known, but we’re told it did affect creative to some degree. When we asked, we weren’t given a timetable on her return, and were even told it was 50/50 on possibly needing surgery to fix it.”

An injury angle took place on WWE RAW when Bayley’s faction attacked Becky backstage. WWE announced the following…

“After tonight’s attack on RAW exacerbated a separated shoulder suffered at Summerslam, Becky Lynch is expected to be out several months.”
