Backstage news regarding WWE’s plans for Giulia now that she has officially joined the NXT roster

As seen during the 2024 WWE NXT No Mercy PLE, international wrestling star Giulia made her first appearance as an official member of the NXT roster. According to Corey Brennan of Fightful.com, Giulia signed a long-term deal with WWE and the belief is that her time in NXT will be relative to how fast she takes to the American television style.

Moving forward, Giulia is expected to be presented as one of NXT’s top stars as the brand transitions to The CW Network. There is said to be little concern with Giulia changing up her style in NXT as the idea of her being ‘too stiff’ was waved off by several sources back in April.

“Fightful Select has learned that Giulia vs Roxanne Perez has been WWE’s goal since Giulia’s signing with NXT in April. NXT sources expect Giulia vs Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship to take place on the CW debut episode of NXT.”
