Backstage news regarding Jordynne Grace’s agreement with WWE while being under contract to TNA

As previously noted, TNA Knockouts champion Jordynne Grace will challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT women’s title at the Battleground PPV event on June 9th 2024. WWE made efforts to keep Grace’s appearance a surprise.

According to Fightful.com, Roxanne herself was surprised by the appearance at her own request. Fightful noted that while Grace remains under contract with TNA Wrestling for at least the next year, she will be making multiple NXT appearances. Fightful stated the following…

“The NXT Battleground match is a part of an agreement between Grace and NXT that will see her make at least three appearances, including the two advertised matches and her appearance last night. NXT sources claim that Grace is making at least six figures for the appearances.”
