Backstage news regarding Bianca Belair and Naomi losing the WWE women’s tag team titles

As seen during the February 24th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Liv Morgan and Raquel won the women’s tag team titles from Bianca Belair and Naomi. Naomi had been filling in as champion for the injured Jade Cargill.

PWInsider.com noted that WWE management was said to have been “really happy” with the live crowd reactions during the match. It’s believed that people within WWE felt that the match “more than delivered” as a main event for RAW.

PWInsider stated that the title change had been long planned. Last month, it was reported that WWE had intentions to give Liv and Raquel a big push as a tag team leading into Wrestlemania 41.

Now that Bianca and Naomi have lost the tag team titles, the Jade attacker reveal could be coming in the near future. According to PWInsider, the expectation in WWE is that Jade will be returning “very soon” and perhaps as soon as this Saturday’s Elimination Chamber PLE in Toronto, Ontario.
