Backstage news regarding AJ Styles being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame

As seen during the February 23rd 2026 edition of WWE RAW, The Undertaker announced that AJ Styles will be inducted into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame. According to Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com, “That whole thing at the end with The Undertaker and the Hall of Fame announcement was a legitimate surprise to AJ, who they didn’t clue in.”

WWE has not officially announced who will be inducting Styles. However, a report from BodySlam.net noted that WWE would like John Cena to do the honor for him.

In 2024, Styles noted via Twitter/X that he didn’t want to enter any Hall of Fame until he was done as an active wrestler. Styles wrote the following message at the time…

“I’m still an active wrestler…I hope. I made the decision not to go into the TNA HOF, not WWE. I appreciate TNA, but I don’t want to go into any HOF as long as I’m still active. My choice.”
