Another potential sign that Malakai Black is finished with AEW amidst internet reports

New reports have come out that Malakai Black is “done” with AEW and could be returning to WWE when he becomes a free agent. As seen during the January 8th 2025 edition of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay said that Buddy Matthews didn’t need to “follow a leader.” This was a reference to Matthews being part of Malakai Black’s House of Black faction.

During the January 11th 2025 edition of AEW Collision, Cope (Adam Copeland) said the following to House of Black member Brody King…

“We’ve been through a lot, but I hope you know that at the end of all of it, I respect you. I respect you [Julia Hart]. I respect Buddy. I think you have the world of potential at your feet.
