Andrade’s departure from WWE was said to have been over a “disciplinary” issue

After being moved to the Alumni section of WWE’s website, it was reported that Andrade is no longer working for the company. It was later reported that Andrade’s departure from WWE “not a mutual decision.”

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com discussed the situation…

“He’s done with WWE, so this was not his doing. I mean, I’ve seen all the speculation everywhere. And I don’t know the whole story, but I do know it was a discipline thing. Um, it was not his doing at all. You know, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh, he’s not being used well, so he’s unhappy.’ I mean, yeah, I’m positive he’s unhappy, but it wasn’t him asking out.”

“What happened was a couple weeks ago—it actually is a story from a couple weeks ago that just broke today. I mean, he wasn’t fired until today, but a couple of weeks ago there was a disciplinary thing. All I know is it was at a TV shoot and he was told to go home, and he’s not been used since. I was told it was not drug related, it was not alcohol related, it was not marriage related—even though the marriage is over. But nobody would tell me what it was. It was enough to be sent home, though… I was told that when he was sent home, the people who knew were not told that he was done, but they assumed that he was done. And then today was the confirmation that he was done.”
