Andrade allegedly reached out to former WWE star David Otunga about his legal situation
During the six-year anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite, Andrade made his return to AEW after being released from WWE. However, he has not appeared on AEW television since coming back to the company as WWE reportedly sent a cease and desist letter to AEW.
While speaking to TMZ.com, former WWE star David Otunga revealed that Andrade reached out to him about his legal situation…
“I covered the non-compete and talked about the Andrade situation. Everybody was telling me, ‘Hey, you should reach out to Andrade. Make sure you see this.’ And so, I said, ‘Yeah, actually, Andrade probably should see my video.’ And then he did. And I’ll say this — he reached out, and we spoke. I can’t really get into it more than that, but I’m just happy that the videos I’m putting out are actually helping people. They’re actually helping wrestlers.”
“The reason I’m not saying more is that I am a licensed lawyer. I don’t know where our relationship is going — if there’s a business relationship or representation-wise or not. So, in order to preserve that, I can’t talk about anything that we said. But that’s why I’m just saying we spoke, and yeah, the presumption was that he was made aware of things from my video and then wanted to speak to me further about that.”
