AMC executives that attended TNA Impact’s premiere said to have been “very happy” with the show

Executives from AMC were reportedly in attendance for TNA Impact’s premiere with the network on Thursday night. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, “the word making its way around AMC yesterday was that execs on site at the Thursday Night Impact premiere were very happy with the show.”

Impact was met with largely negative reviews from viewers. As of Saturday morning, the broadcast holds a 1.52 overall rating (out of 10) on the Cagematch website database.

There were work visa processing issues that prevented Leon Slater, Harley Hudson, producer Lance Storm, Dani Luna, and potentially others from being able to travel into the United States while former WCW President Eric Bischoff criticized the show’s production.
