AJ Styles to put his WWE career on the line against Gunther at the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE
As seen during the January 19th 2026 episode of WWE RAW in Belfast, Northern Ireland, AJ Styles asked for a rematch against Gunther. However, Gunther said he would only agree to the match if Styles put his career on the line.
After speaking with his wife, Styles informed General Manager Adam Pearce that he accepted the stipulation. Styles vs. Gunther in a career-threatening match was officially confirmed for the 2026 Royal Rumble PLE.
