AJ Styles declines to sign AEW world title at WWE live event

During a WWE house show in Tampa, FL on December 27th 2025, WWE tag team champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defeated The New Day and The War Raiders in tag team action. After the match, Styles signed fan memorabilia. When a fan presented an AEW world title belt, Styles respectfully declined and gave the following message…

“Nick [Jackson], Matt [Jackson], I love ya, I can’t sign this though!”

Styles’ comment referenced Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson, acknowledging his former Bullet Club teammates while choosing not to sign the title. Video footage of the moment has since gone viral on social media outlets.
