AJ Lee’s return to WWE teased after the 2025 Clash in Paris PLE goes off the air
As seen during the 2025 Clash in Paris PLE, Seth Rollins retained his World Heavyweight Title with help from his wife Becky Lynch. This sparked internet speculation about a potential Rollins and Becky vs. CM Punk and AJ Lee match.
The return of Lee, who has not wrestled in WWE since 2015 and is married to Punk, was teased during the post-show stream. As he was leaving the ring, Punk glared at a sign that read, “Punk, bring back AJ Lee.” On commentary, Big E remarked, “This man, CM Punk, has got a wife too,” while Jackie Redmond directly mentioned her by asking, “Are you saying this opens a certain door to maybe, AJ Lee?”
According to Fightful.com, there has been more traction for an AJ Lee return recently than in previous years. However, nothing has been confirmed regarding a potential comeback.
