AEW star Ricochet issues public apology after writing “I’m glad you got MS” to fan
Following the 2026 Revolution PPV event, AEW released a video of Ricochet delivering a post-match promo. A fan known as Sandi T. commented, “His acting hasn’t improved.” Ricochet responded with, “I’m glad you got MS.”
The exchange sparked backlash online, with many arguing that Ricochet’s comment crossed the line. While he was portraying a heel character, users pointed out that referencing a serious illness (Multiple Sclerosis) after viewing her profile made the remark feel overly personal. Others defended him, saying fans shouldn’t criticize public figures if they aren’t prepared for a response, but the prevailing sentiment was that the comment came across as unnecessarily cruel rather than effective heel behavior or simple trolling.
The next day, Ricochet issued a public apology…
“I took out my hatred for the IWC on Sandi, and inadvertently others who are effected by MS. She didnt deserve it and for that, I sincerely apologize. Moving forward I’ll do better.”
