Juice Robinson officially pulled from the remainder of the 2024 Continental Classic tournament
As seen during the November 30th 2024 edition of AEW Collision, Juice Robinson lost to Will Ospreay in a Continental Classic tournament match. The match was taped last Wednesday and Robinson was later spotted over the weekend at WrestleCade on crutches.
In regards to Robinson’s status, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com noted the following…
“He had X-Rays and he had not had the results back as of yesterday, but he was fearing a broken foot. We’ll find out Wednesday, I guess. I would think that if he’s out (of the tournament), they would have to make an announcement. And there’s a bunch of different ways they can go about it. They can just have him forfeit the rest of his matches and then re-adjust everything for the people that he was going to beat. They could do that, they could put somebody in as a replacement. Those are basically your choices.”
On Tuesday night, AEW President Tony Khan made the official announcement…
“Due to injury, Juice Robinson cannot complete the #AEWContinentalClassic. Aiming to prove that he can hang with the world’s very best, high flying rising star @KomandercrMX will join the field as Gold League first alternate, + the upcoming schedule will be adjusted accordingly.”
