AEW rumored to be getting a “significant increase” with Warner Brothers Discovery renewal

AEW President Tony Khan recently stated that AEW has been engaged in “great conversations” with Warner Brothers Discovery about a media rights renewal. In an update on the matter, Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast wrote “imminent” on Twitter/X and then stated the following…

“WBD sources have expressed continued confidence that a deal is happening with a significant increase. Plans for AEW content in 2025 on WBD continue to shape up.”

When asked if AEW content is coming to the MAX streaming service, Zarian replied with “I mean it’s what I’m being told by people at WBD.” Zarian also noted that “no one in the know is claiming any specific number” and “it’s in the lawyers hands now to get it [the deal] done.”
