AEW producing a special edition of Dynamite to celebrate the show surpassing WCW Nitro in total episodes

The final episode of WCW Monday Nitro was #286 and took place on March 26th 2001. With AEW Dynamite set to surpass Nitro in total episodes, a special edition of Dynamite will take place to celebrate the milestone. AEW President Tony Khan posted the following messages via Twitter/X…

“Thank you all who watch AEW! After a big March Madness Slam Dunk #AEWCollision weekend, we’re looking forward to Wednesday and a stacked lineup on what will soon be the longest running weekly prime time pro wrestling show ever on TBS/TNT, don’t miss #AEWDynamite Wednesday Night!”

“Don’t miss Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite 289, Wednesday, April 16 in Boston, AEW Spring BreakThru! We’ll celebrate AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite becoming the longest running prime time weekly pro wrestling program in Turner Sports history!”
