AEW President Tony Khan addresses Jade Cargill’s status with the company

As previously noted, Jade Cargill’s future with AEW is uncertain following her lengthy TBS title reign. While there has been no word regarding when Jade will be back on television, AEW President Tony Khan spoke with Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com and addressed her status with the company…

“Well, Jade’s still with us, and Jade has been on sabbatical since her upset, I believe title loss after her unbelievable undefeated run. And Kris Statlander now is the TBS Champion, and she’s made some great defenses of the title, but Jade is still with us. And I can’t say for certain what anybody’s going to do in the future, but certainly we value Jade and everything she’s done here.”

Jade has shared photos of herself traveling in Egypt and Italy during her time away from AEW.
