AEW makes change to the 2024 Grand Slam edition of Dynamite on September 25th
As seen during the September 11th 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, a change was made to the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite on September 25th.
Darby Allin was originally scheduled to challenge Bryan Danielson at Grand Slam for the world title. However, Jon Moxley challenged Allin to put his title shot on the line at Grand Slam instead and Allin accepted.
With the world title match not happening, Nigel McGuinness announced that he secured a singles match with Bryan for Grand Slam. It was teased that Bryan wasn’t confirmed for the event due to the attack from Moxley at All Out.
The Young Bucks vs. Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher for the tag team titles will also take place at Grand Slam.
