AEW Dynamite falls to lowest viewership in normal time slot since May of 2021
The May 4th 2022 edition of AEW Dynamite drew 833,000 viewers with a 0.32 (421,000 viewers) 18-49 demo. Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.com noted that it was the “lowest total viewership in normal time slot since May 19, 2021. P18-49 down only slightly from last week but still lowest since February 16.” Dynamite ranked #4 among cable originals after the NBA Playoff games.
In the main event of the show, Mercedes Martinez defeated Deonna Purrazzo to become the undisputed ROH women’s champion.
Dynamite ranked #4 among cable originals for the day in P18-49, according to Showbuzz and #12 including English language broadcast.
